    Hi all,

My friends and fellow board members at the Green City Market -- along with Lifeway Foods and Jose Andres' World Central Kitchen -- are organizing this fundraiser, which is coming up on Wednesday 3/16 at Navy Pier.

    Per the Event Page . . .

Join your favorite Chicagoland chefs for a delicious and one of a kind evening dedicated to raising funds for World Central Kitchen's work benefiting Ukrainian refugee families in need of a nutritious meal.

Guests will enjoy dishes from our city's greatest chefs as well as beverages donated by Breakthru Beverage Group.

Sponsors and VIP guests will enjoy exclusive access and early admission to the event at 5:00 p.m.

The event is hosted by Chef Tony Priolo, Chef Sarah Stegner, Darren Gest, and Eda Davidman, and Green City Market.

100% of the event proceeds will benefit World Central Kitchen. Thank you for covering your Eventbrite processing fees to ensure we maximize our support of Ukrainian refugees.

Green City Market is proud to sponsor this event and to facilitate the event operations as we believe everyone deserves access to nourishing food.

I could not find a complete list of participating chefs but I'm told that over 70 have signed on so far. And if you cannot make it to the event, of course, you can make a donation, instead.

What a fantastic line-up! I thought about getting tickets, but decided my money was better spent going directly to World Central Kitchen. I look forward to seeing photos from fellow LTHers who do attend this!

Hi- For those people that live in Evanston, Prairie Moon Restaurant is adding a different Ukrainian inspired soup to their menu every week, and if you purchase it, 100% of the price of the soup goes to the Ukrainian branch of Doctors without Borders. This week the soup is beef and cabbage soup. The restaurant is located at 1635 Chicago Ave. across from Whole Foods in downtown Evanston. It is where Dave's Italian Kitchen used to be. They hope to raise $3,000 in this fundraiser.

BTW World Central Kitchen, which is receiving all the funds from the Navy Pier event on 3/16, has the highest rating possible at the Charity Navigator website.
