Dagnabbit, at least you'll be having fun, I've got meetings that evening with folks in China. Perils of a multinational corporation.

As much as I wish to be supportive, I have a crack-of-dawn roadtrip the next day.

I'm pretty sure I'll be +2, not +1 but that's not confirmed yet.

    Thanks,

I posted a report about our meal here.

A really big thanks to Alan for having the wherewithall to put this together. It was great to be in such lovely company with such an excellent group, especially after ~2 years of rarely going out in groups this size. Ordering power, yes!

Thanks to everyone who brought beverages to share, especially Tom for his terrific, home-brewed sansho pepper mead. I'm sorry I came empty-handed on the beverage front. I am really out of practice and hope to remedy that going forward.

The evening really was a win-win-win. It was great seeing everyone and spending time together. It had been way too long. :) The meal was excellent and hopefully, we gave Rainbow a little bit of a boost. They're definitely struggling right now.

I also want to add that no one was late, there were no no-shows and everyone had exact change. That was some all-star comportment! :D
