Thank you Laura for hosting this evening. It was wonderful.

JennyIL and I both brough Magic Cookies.

I used butter for the graham cracker crust. Instead of 14-ounce can Eagle type condensed milk, I used a 16-ounce jar of dulce de leche. I was certain I had condensed milk, then reasoned dulce de leche was close enough to work. For the top, I used chocolate and coconut. I skipped the nuts.

JennyIL followed the recipe more precisely.

It was great to try these side-by-side.

Thank you to Laura for hosting. It was great to be back and catch up with old friends and meet new ones. The desserts were wonderful. Great variety, even if there were two Magic Bars, they were each unique. It's always fun when we have a couple of the same desserts - we can taste and compare.
