Post #1 - February 14th, 2023, 9:46 pmHaving been to two new upscale Mexican places in Evanston (Zentli and Fonda — report here), I've been jonesing for older-school Mexican. Rocky's Tacos has gotten good reviews (even here on LTH), so it seems worth a try. Rocky's is a fütbol-oriented (or soccer-oriented, for those of us less worldly) taqueria in Rogers Park that I've driven past many times, but never had an excuse to go in. Now I will, and maybe you will, too. As usual, all are welcome, please let us know that you'll join us by replying in this thread.

Post #2 - February 15th, 2023, 1:09 amThis is also a great spot for those who don't necessarily like typical Mexican restaurant food. A friend took me there a while back, excellent tortas and pretty much any filling you can imagine is available. I thought the futbol thing referred to the size of the sandwich, as in American football!
