I guess only friends of the house can be there when they're closed at 10:17 . . . or maybe the mean lady wasn't there.

Dude, I could understand everything about your New Asia experience, except the "mean lady." The woman who works there is the sweetest thing! I told Matt that instead of him posing in the photo, it should have been her with a big smile!

This is pretty funny. I did ask the "mean lady" what time they stop seating. She said they stop seating at 9:30 most days and 9:00 on Sunday. We also saw a Vietnamese family with kids walk in at 9:30 on the dot and they were turned away.

Actually, they close at 9 on Sunday, stop seating at 8:30.

Ronnie, as a point of clarification is the person in question a diminutive woman, maybe 85/lbs and 4'8" ? If so, it must have simply been a weird one-off as she is a real sweetheart, all smiles all the time, and you are one of the nicest people I know.

My friend went last night, arrived at 9:15 and had the "Open" sign turned off almost immediately after he entered. He was able to order some carry-out, though. They really should change their posted closing time to 9 pm.

Just to clarify, it was not the smiley, seemingly-younger woman who was mean to us. She was nice and totally charming. It was another, older-looking lady wearing a ballcap with whom we had our unpleasant interaction.

Interesting. Not that I would have thought otherwise, but this lends more believably to your story. That lady, who is as smiley as she is small, is the only one I have ever seen working the place, and I have been in there dozens of times.

LOL! Well, thank goodness you believe me now! I'm glad you were able to suss this out from the countless lies I've posted here over the years.
