Do you know what's been offered in the past? I'm really interested if it's anything but large scale factory production wine.

That has never been the case in the past, but in a self-parodying way we refer to this event as the Annual He-Man Meat Eaters Fest, or something tongue-in-cheek like that. Are you interested in coming?

Technically any one is welcome. In reality only one woman (maybe 2 if my mind fails me) has attended in the past two years. That started a bit of a joke as David point out.

    David,

Don't you have a connection to make reservations? If so you want to go ahead and get one for 10. We can adjust up or down when we get closer. If you aren't going to be able to attend, make it anyway, and Gary can wear a hat to impersonate you. He's the only one who matches your hair color. :D

They say they're booked up on Friday, but I'm going to call Patrick Norton (the GM) later today to see if he can squeeze us in.

I have no problem making it another day during the week. I'd venture to say that Friday is probably the busiest day due to the leave-work-early-for-the-weekend crowd. I have no horse in the race as far as which day is better for wine, since I don't drink much of the stuff. I'll leave it to others to decide which other day works better.

Drats, I like Friday. Try Thursday or Wednesday. Monday is possible. Tuesday is out for me. Not that I'm needed.

Just book one day and those who can can and those who can't can book another day.

    Cool. You're on the list.

    All,

This year, as you know, we are waiving the traditional one-woman-maximum-in-attendance and are open to having other non-males at the table. Please submit applications to this thread.
