    I did a search on this & didn't find anything, so I am asking here.

    Has anyone ever been there? Is the pizza good? Is it clean?

    Thanks!
    I can't believe I ate the whole thing!

    Nothing that distinquishes it (good or bad) from the average Chicago neighborhood pizza places.

    I'd head to Nonna Silvia's at Canfield and Talcott, or Spuntino's on Higgins. Both nearby in Park Ridge.

    If you like greasy pizza Dino's is the place for you. I used to live down the block from Dino's and have enjoyed the pizza.

    My favorite from Dino's is the cheesy beef on garlic bread. It's no Johnnie's but darn good!

    Used to get Dino's when we celebrated Christmas with my Aunt Lucille near Harlem and Higgins. I remember it being pretty good. Not sure I'd make the trip now, but it was solid.

    Been back to Dino's a few times since my last post never the dining room always a bottle of Miller & square cut pie at the bar. Dare I say our last Dino's pie, 16-inch mushroom, onion, sausage well done, which fed two with leftovers, surpassed my last at Marie's.

    Was around 9pm on a Monday, bartender friendly, interactive in a Chicago neighborhood kind of way, couple of in-their-cups regulars included us in conversation and a good time was had by all. Separate dining room if not feeling social.

    {Deep, dark secret... :wink:}
    Back in the early 1990s, a Chicago Beer Society event was hosted by Dino's, in that private room.
    I believe I have not been there since, although I recall driving my dad to Resurrection Hospital and passing it any number of times. But there are a lot of venues I haven't gotten back to in a while. {A pinnacle example being The Grafton.}
    I'll consider visiting it again. :) {that first image looks like black olives on the pizza}

    Dino's square cut tavern style hit the spot, wings crispy, juicy with buffalo sauce on the side and I eyed an plate of lemon chicken a few seats down the bar that looked terrific. Clearly I need to explore the menu. Dino's is not, as I previously thought, a one trick pizza pony.

    Brings back memories. Ordered very good pizza frequently from Dino's in the late 70's and 80's when I worked nearby. Doesn't look like much has changed.

    When at Dino's earlier in the week a guy a few seats down the bar was eating Lemon Chicken, juicy, crispy skin, looked great. Had lemon chicken tonight, and it was all that and a bag of chips, or should I say baked potato as that was my choice of starch. (pasta, baked potato or fries) Also came with soup or salad and terrific warm bread.

    Dinos23.jpg Dino's dinner salad, warm bread butter.

    Bonus, talkative friendly people at the bar, free peanuts in the shell.
    Double bonus, $13.95 for chicken dinner, salad, baked potato w/butter sour cream, terrific warm bread and butter.

    Slight negative for fussy chicken eaters, which includes me. Dino's uses straight-up commodity chicken which was evident in the somewhat dull flavor of the flesh. Chicken was perfectly cooked but an upgrade in raw chicken quality would elevate this tremendously. I did not notice this with the chicken wings I had the other day

    I'll probably try a few other dinner entrees but thin crust tavern style square cut pizza may be the way to go at Dino's.

    Have to agree with Gary about the pizza here. Really good and the sausage is outstanding. Like the crust too. Oh, and pasta dishes are nice as well ,like the extra garlicky linguini with white clam especially.
