Crisp flaky crunchy crust, slightly sweet filling, I'm guessing it is the same filling used for cannoli, lightly dusted with powdered sugar. I ate one in the car and immediately went back in the shop and bought more. Brought them to a friends house and had an email asking where I bought them before I got home.

Line had formed outside (only 5 customers inside at a time). Cheese sticks still hitting it out of the park and took a half sheet pizza for afternoon snacking (reminded me of my youth). Nice to see that some things don't change.

Did you check what type gelatin they used? (Probably, but just making sure)

Far as Joe Donut, I went a few times when they opened, liked the pistachio raised glazed. They seem to have taken a short downhill slide. In the general neighborhood Allegretti's Bakery has wonderful chocolate donuts and Somethin' Sweet Donuts rock.
