Mr. A's Italian Beef To Close In Crystal Lake After 54 Years

The family-owned beef stand opened in 1968 and will close on Friday due to the declining health of owner Bob Amoroso, the restaurant said.

Bumping this from two months ago. I didn't let this sink in and came across it on Google maps and wondered how the hell LTH missed it. The unsurprising answer is they didn't. I should've gotten here sooner nr706 (Tom?). If anybody has been, let me know, I'll be trying it out within a week.

We had an unfortunate experience there on our visit, but all the other stuff I've seen about it have been positive. Still don't understand why they wanted to paint the outside chartreuse.
