Cannabis and pizza are coming together under one tent for a special, one-day collaboration.

The Paulie Gee’s Logan Square staff has been hard at work finalizing a huge pepperoni pizza for Friday’s Pi Day It will feature cannabis-infused Mike’s Hot Honey and a balsamic glaze made by Ivy Hall. The 64-by-32-inch “Grandma Sicilian pizza,” a thin-crust rectangular pizza made in a sheet pan, yields 50 slices that will only be available to be eaten onsite at the Logan Square dispensary’s new consumption lounge, according to the company.

Shoppers 21 and older at any Ivy Hall location will be able to enjoy their favorite cannabis products or indulge in an infused pizza slice starting noon Friday in a designated pop-up lounge at the dispensary, 3115 W. Armitage Ave., with a valid receipt.

Customers will be able to dose their pizzas with 2.5 milligrams of Mike’s Hot Honey and a balsamic glaze to pick from, said a representative for Ivy Hall. There will also be non-infused options that include cheese, pepperoni, Sicilian veggie or vegan slices.
