I'm fairly certain that Merle and I ate at this spot several years ago when it was known as Pho 5 Lua. Not sure why I didn't post about it. G Wiv seems to be the poster child for this spot. Someone else hinted to me that this should be checked out by Sunday Dinner Group. Let's do it. Those of you that want to do the exchange know the drill.

    Hi,

Wonderful array of food with the raw beef with lime as specially good.

They do a great job of making rice noodles crispy at least on one side.

    The head tax was $18.

I am unsure what "Head Tax" refers to. Thanks for an explanation.

Head tax was Cathy's somewhat facetious way of referring to the cost per person including tax and tip. This one was in the bargain category. We got a lot of good food for our bucks.

I wasn't being facetious, I wanted to convey the cost per person. Perhaps it is an encouragement for people to set up or attend a group dinner. The rare beef with lime was $20, which is a good dish though an array of dishes to sample for a final cost of $18 is terrific.

The raw beef with lime was definitely the high point of the meal.
