Just saw this on another site and it raised the obvious question: "what's the point?"

    https://shop.uncrate.com/products/fof-10lb-wagyu-ground-beef-bundle

I've cooked a memorable wagyu brisket and have enjoyed various wagyu steaks but I don't get the point of wagyu ground beef - especially at $15/lb. Aside from the obvious concern about actually receiving the described product, why would I care? Also, the image of a big box full of packets - clearly more than 10lbs. - is a little shady.

Most people I think associate Wagyu with Kobe Beef and don't realize the difference.
I use Pick N Save 93% and purchase when on-sale for a $6.90/#. This week I had a coupon for an additional $1 off.
For burgers, I toast the bun in butter, add a cold butter pat into the center of the burger and a soft pat onto the bun for a real Wisconsin 'Butter Burger'.
For real Japanese A5, I purchase from Mitsuwa.
I purchase no Wagyu at this time.
I have had Wagyu briskets and Tenderloins from Snake River Farms.
    They were very good.
One brisket was smoked with a Tex-Mex seasoning and one of my friends pronounced it "the best brisket I have ever tasted!".
But Wagyu ground beef, I think not!

Does indeed seem strange, especially with no fat % listed. Assuming it's extra fatty, chili and tacos seem like odd uses because the fat renders out as the crumbled burger is browned.

Yesterday, Aldi had Wagyu ground beef (75/25) for $4.99/lb, compared to $5.49 for 73/27, $5.99 for 80/20 chuck, up into $7+ for organic ultra lean.

I'll let you know how it comes out, it's going into a camping dutch oven favorite, Mexican Lasagna.
